Squarespace provides some statistics to me; I don't use Google Analytics. Squarespace Analytics Cookies, which can be used to determine unique visitors, are disabled for my site. Yes, even if you acknowledge my cookie banner.
When you like a post, no information about you is accessible to me.
When you comment, you need to provide a name (enter whatever you like - this is visible publicly next to your comment) and an email address (which only I can see - this is for spam protection). You can comment as a guest, you do not need a Squarespace account.
When you use the contact form, your information is sent to me as an email. Name and subject are optional; however, you need to enter a message (obviously...) and provide an email address. (Feel free to enter a made-up one if you don't want a reply.)
When you sign up for site updates via email, all I need is an email address (obviously). Your name is optional, and you can choose the email format of your choice (HTML or text-only). My newsletter service, Mailchimp, will ask for GDPR-compliant consent to receiving email updates from me.
