The iPad killer that never was

I have been meaning to share this clip for a while. It is a concept video of a Microsoft tablet that never saw the light of day - unfortunately. This take on tablet computing is so different that it could have been the ultimate iPad killer. With its highly intuitive interface it would have been, I believe, a great tablet for interpreters: preparing meetings would have been a snap if you look at how easy the developers made gathering information from various sources into one "infinite journal". Alas, it was not not meant to be as Microsoft executives shut the project down. Many Courier team members left and went on to greener pastures. Two apps built by those people include the fabulous Paper app by 53 and Taposé (which looks very promising).
